Doctor Nahar Taufiq received his Medical Doctor from Faculty of Medicine Universitas Negeri Sebelas Maret, Surakarta, Indonesia in 1992. He completed his Cardiologist residency at National CardiovascularCenter Harapan Kita/Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia in 2003. He continued his training on invasive diagnostic and non-surgery intervention in National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta in 2015. He attended Interventional Cardiology Fellow in NUH, Singapore in 2007-2008. He was conferred Consultant of Interventional Cardiology from Indonesian Heart Association in 2009. Currently he is lecturer and Consultant of Interventional Cardiology at Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Jogjakarta. He is also Head of Cardiac Service in Dr. Sardjito Hospital, Jogjakarta , Indonesia. He graduated from Doctoral Program in Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2019. He is currently active in developing and investigating the new coronary stent as part of his research interest.
