Dr. Anggoro Budi Hartopo is an Associate Professor at the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing Universitas Gadjah Mada, Jogjakarta, Indonesia. He completed residency as an internist – cardiologist in Faculty of Medicine Universitas Gadjah Mada. He conducted his graduate studies in Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine Japan in 2010 – 2013. Currently, he works as an academic staff at Universitas Gadjah Mada and an internist – cardiologist in Dr. Sardjito Hospital. He conducts research on the role of cardiac biomarkers, including endothelin system, in clinical diseases, i.e. pulmonary hypertension, acute myocardial infarction, ventricular remodeling and heart failure, and coronary artery disease. He supervised residents, medical students and graduate students in Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing Universitas Gadjah Mada/Dr. Sardjito Hospital
